Happy Holidays 2008

We had great holidays this year, and we hope each of you were able to have the same kind. If you know us, you know the best present we got this year was a healthy little baby named Samantha. Nothing material can replace the happiness that she has given us. We both look forward to the continued happy times with her. You can click HERE for more holiday pictures....

MERRY CHRISTMAS

We hope everyone has a wonderful and Merry Christmas! I know this is not a Christmas picture posted, but this was my Christmas present from Gregg... it was pretty much the one and only thing I wanted this year. So, he got that picture framed for me along with a couple other things. If you know my husband, you know that we had to do Christmas early - not because 'family is coming in town and I want to do our own gift exchange alone' as he claimed but because he doesn't know how to wrap gifts and didn't know how to get them in the house without me seeing them for 2 days (yes, you are reading this correctly, he didn't go Christmas shopping for me until Dec. 22nd!... nothing like waiting until the last minute)

I have planned a big feast of meals which, if you know me, should be interesting as I don't cook. So, I have made reservations at the Chinese buffet in case things go terribly wrong :) I promise to post pictures of tonight's meal and tomorrow's feast along with pictures of Miss Samantha.

Hope everyone enjoys the holidays and remembers what they have to be grateful/thankful for... Gregg and I count our blessing each and every day that Miss Samantha is okay and that she is home with us and that we have our families. Love to all your families

Under New Management

So... Gregg is being fired from managing the blog as he is not keeping up with updating it on a consistent basis. I, on the other hand, will try to do a much better job. :)

Miss Samantha has been doing well. She is now tipping the scales at 10lbs! We went for our first official set of family photos a couple of weeks ago and they turned our pretty good. Check out our first official cheesy Christmas family picture!

We are currently working on moving Miss Samantha upstairs to her room and out of mommy and daddy's room! I'm getting a little bit of resistance from Kimmer, but as I've told him... IT'S TIME :)

I am starting back to work January 5th and I am really looking forward to it. I have to applaud those mom's that stay home with their little ones all day every day - I don't have it in me. I need adult interaction! However, I think I am lucky that Samantha is going to be in day care right around the corner from my office so that I can go and see her when I get antsy during the day. But, just like hundreds of other mom's do - I will take it day by day and it will get a little bit easier each day.

Sammie's first Santa Sitting!!!

We took Samantha this past Friday for her first of MANY visits with Santa Claus! Santa was great and took lots of pictures with our girl until we got just the right one. He even let us take some video of him asking her what she wanted for Christmas. If Santa has his way - this is going to be one expensive Christmas!
